This is a 5 day crash course offered over Easter Week.
In this course we will go through several of the the 7 week courses offered at Katz Atelier with a focus on core fundamentals, practical and theory as well as concept design for film and game, practical and theory.
The course consists of lectures, live demos, drawing exercises with paint overs, as well as industry discussions and mentoring towards individual goals and career paths. Specially catered to each individual.
Schedule
Mon - Zorn Palette in Oils, Fundamentals of Design
Tues - Advanced Oils, Illustration Techniques - reference manipulation.
Weds - Character Design in Oils - design sketching leading to final painting.
Thurs - Creature Design in Oils part 1 - drawing and design.
Friday - Creature Design part 2 - oils. How oils directly transitions to digital painting and photobashing.
