No prerequisites required for this course. Open to all skill levels
This is an 8 week course
Sundays 10am - 1pm. Instructed class is in the mornings, then the Atelier will remain open during the afternoon for you to work on your graphic novels
This course consists of Lectures, in class exercises, and a little bit of homework.
In this class students will be given a few paragraphs from selected fantasy novels and transform them into an 8 - 12 page comic. We will cover all theory and technical aspects of graphic novel making as well as craft for your selected medium.
Expected outcome - students should expect to be able to complete the roughs of all pages, and have at least 2 pages completely finished and rendered.
I will also bring in over 50 graphics novels for us all to nerd out on.

Materials are NOT supplied in this course. You are welcome to use any medium, pencil, pen, ink, Photoshop, Procreate to create your comics in.
Pad and Pen are suggested for note taking during lectures.
